How to Add an IP PIN to TAX ACT

Follow these steps to add an IP PIN to TAX ACT tax returns.

1. Sign into your TAX ACT account.
2. Select the tax return you’d like to add the IP PIN to under “My Taxes”
3. Click on the “Miscellaneous” tab under Federal in the left side navigation panel
4. Select “Review” next to Identity Protection Pin (IP PIN)
5. Enter the IP PIN in the space provided and click “continue”

1. Sign into your TAX ACT account.
2. Select the tax return you’d like to add the IP PIN to under “My Taxes”
3. Click “Help” in the upper right of your screen.
4. Type “IP PIN” in the search bar and click “enter”
5. Click on the highlighted IP PIN in the results.
6. Enter the IP PIN in the space provided and click “continue”
